State Sen. Don DeWitte, R-St. Charles, will host three Coffee and Conversation events in September to speak directly with constituents.

Local residents can register on DeWitte's website to attend one of the meet-ups where they can ask questions and hear about what he has been working on down in Springfield, according to a news release.

DeWitte currently represents Illinois State Senate District 33, which spans across Huntley, Pingree Grove, Hampshire, parts of Algonquin, West Dundee and South Elgin and then stretches down through St. Charles and Geneva to Batavia.

The first two events will be held 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 15 and Sept. 23 at Pingree Grove Village Hall, 555 Reinking Road, according to the release.

The third Coffee and Conversation event will take place 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 30, in the board room of the village of Huntley building, 10987 Main St.

All three events are free to attend, and coffee and refreshments will be provided, according to the release.

Because of COVID-19 capacity limits on gatherings, all participants are required to register online, according to the release. Wearing a face covering and practicing social distancing also will be required.

Future events will be posted on the event page of DeWitte's website, according to the release.
