'A Nightmare at West Main' to scare up outdoor fun in Batavia

BATAVIA – The ghosts are coming out to play in the forest at West Main Community Park between 7 and 9 p.m. Fridays, Oct. 16 and 23, the Batavia Park District announced.

"Join us for a haunted hike through our spooky trails," organizers of "A Nightmare at West Main" stated in a news release. "Evil lurks in the forest, so enter if you dare."

The event is not suitable for kids younger than 10 years old. Pre-registration is required, and tickets cost $10 per person. Every person needs to be registered, and should arrive within the time frame they sign up for. Time slots include 7 to 7:30 p.m.; 7:30 to 8 p.m.; 8 to 8:30 p.m.; and 8:30 to 9 p.m.
